Description

Chris Steele-Perkins has spent a number of decades photographing the complex and contradictory culture of Japan, a country that he is intimately tied to, after meeting his wife, Miyako Yamada there. Here, he captures the burning red fields of near Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi.

I want my photographs to reflect my understanding and my age.
