Description

Burt Glinn became an associate member of Magnum in 1951 (along with Eve Arnold and Dennis Stock – the first Americans to join the young photo agency) and a full member in 1954. He travelled to Cuba to cover the revolution in 1959, photographed the Beatniks in New York Citlate 60s, and went on to become a hugely successful commercial photographer. Here he captures two young hippies peacefully protesting the Vietnam War during the Democratic National Convention.
